Our programs take a number of different shapes - The traditional match spends a few hours a week or every other week doing the activities they enjoy the most. Our case management team provides matches with support, guidance, and monthly match activities to bring everyone together. This community - based program matches carefully-screened adult volunteers with children between the ages 6-14.
Two additional programs, match juniors from either Deerfield Academy or Northfield Mount Hermon with children in the region between the ages 6 and 11. The matches generally last two years until the "Big" graduates. The case management team carefully screens all potential students wishing to become mentors. Match meetings take place on Friday nights throughout the school year, with our staff on hand. The children enjoy the time with their "Bigs" and make lasting connections with mentors who positively impact their lives.
